Even more proof that kibble is toxic exists.  In addition to "forever chemicals" found in the packaging of most big brand kibble companies (MARS, Nestle Purina and Hills), two other additives called butylated hydroxytoluene also referred to as BHT, and butylated hydroxyanisol also referred to as BHA are used in kibble to extend the shelf life of fat used to make the kibble by preventing it from prematurely spoiling. Food coloring in dog food is toxic.  There are two types of food colors - food dyes and lake colors.  Food dyes are made from petroleum or crude oil. Excess sugar is a killer. We know that cancer needs sugar as a fuel source. We know that sugar is a direct cause of type.2 diabetes. All carbs are not created equal.  Carbs are a macronutriet, which will eventually be broken down into glucose, or sugar, which your dog's brain and body does need to function optimally.  Their bodies can also make glucose if it needs to from protein by a process called gluconeogensis, so the amount of carbs your dog needs depends on their activity level.  The more active, the more carbs.  The more sedentary, the less carbs. Read more here!
